Josh Gad will direct a movie about Chris Farley’s life, with Paul Walter Hauser playing the lead role. Chris Farley was a funny guy from Saturday Night Live who passed away when he was 33 because of drugs. His family is helping with the movie. Paul Walter Hauser said he’s excited to honor Chris. The movie will be based on a book about Chris’s life, written by his brother Tom Farley Jr. and Tanner Colby. Lorne Michaels from SNL will produce it. This will be Josh Gad’s first time directing a movie. Usually, he acts, but now he’s taking on this new role.
