The Scary Movie reboot announced at CinemaCon has officially come together, with the franchise’s original creators reuniting for the first time in 18 years to produce a new original screenplay. The previous films were parodies of slasher hits such as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The upcoming Scary Movie is set to begin filming next year, targeting a theatrical release.
