It’s National Organ Donation Awareness Week. One organ donor can save up to 8 lives and one ocular donor can help up to 10 people!
The need for organs and tissues for transplants far outweighs the available supply in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Thanks to donors, more and more transplant patients are living longer and healthier lives.
Registering your decision for organ and/or tissue donation is easy – all you need is your Health Services Card number, first and last name and date of birth!
